All this from the IGI, all 'only fitting candidates', all requiring confirmation. The main point for me is that all this doesn't lead back to my James Reid who married Elizabeth Grant 1757. Their son, my 4xg-gdfather married Janet Clark whose parents were James Clark and Elspet ANDREW, who moved from Mains of Buckie into Deskford. So I was also interested in the Andrew line.
