How would I find out and most importantly is there a website which lists soldiers who fought in the Boer War who were Scottish? My great-Grandfather, Alexander Walker BARRON was born in Banffshire, Scotland in 1873 and fought in the Boer War...I don't know much about this war, so please excuse what may seem like stupid questions, would he have fought with the British?
