Hallo Graeme There is a death notice in the Elgin Courant of 26 November 1846. It might mention cause of death. Go to the Moray Council website at http://www.moray.org/LocalHeritage/index.html Click on LIBINDX on the left. Click on People ......People search....Input reference nos. NM031618 and NM02146.
