Hi Margaret If it is not too much trouble I would be interested in the information you have on the Packman Line. I have a bit of a mystery which seems to involve a Joseph Packman, Junior and Alexander Packman his son I have the following note in my records: While researching the death of Margaret McKenzie who was married to James Scott it was found that Margaret's death was registered by an Alexander Packman, Nephew. The IGI shows an Alexander Packman or McKenzie as the child of Joseph Packman and Ann McKenzie but no marriage has been found for this couple. It is assumed therefore that Alexander Packman was the illegitimate child of Joseph Packman. The Death Certificate for George Webster Jr shows that she later married John McKay. (By my reckoning George Webster was also the illegitimate son of Ann). Ian A C Scott
