Hello List Members; I have found my SMART family (farmers) on the 1841 Census of Banff , Banffshire, Enum Dist 3, Civil Parish , Banff, Folio 10 , Page 12. Address, Lochagan. The Genuki Site lists "Lochagan " as a place name. Please, can someone tell me how to find out whether "Lochagan" is / was also the name of the farm ? Thank you for any assistance. Ruth in Canada

Hi Ruth If you go to http://www.old-maps.co.uk/ and type in Lochagan as the address, you'll find it. You can also get the modern view - it's still there.
