I have just recently found that there are some Lorimers in my family tree, through Elizabeth Lorimer (b. 6/16/1709 in Fordyce, Banffshire) who married James Wilkie on 10/3/1730. Their granddaughter, Cecilia Wilkie (b. 1751, through their son James and wife Isabel Peterkin), married an Alexander Forbes in 1777. Unfortunately, I think that's about as far back as I have ben able to go on the Lorimer side, but will check. Hope that helps somewhat. Blessings, Linda
