Dear Listers, My granny's cousin Elspeth Ann Chalmers wa born in Port Tannachy, Enzie in 1875, but went to live in Main Street, Buckie when her mother remarried in 1881 the widower David Mair. Elspeth did not marry and died of bowel cancer in 1854 in Seafield Hospital , Buckie. Her home address being Wilson's Avenue, Buckie. So for all of her adult life she lived in Buckie. Alas I know nothing at all about her. Does anyone? 1854 seems not so long ago, and I hope someone from the area may recall something about her. Her step brother's and sisters may well have had children. Please could the good folk of Buckie wrack their brains and see if they can recall anything that may help me picture her life. Mary
