With reference to the recent correspondence on servants of the Earls of Fife, I have just come across one in Macduff: Here lie interred the remains of Margaret Turnbul who departed this life on the 27th October, 1808 in the 85th year of her age. She was a servant in the family of Fife for 65 years; and, as a testimony of her faithful services during that long period, this stone is erected by James, the present Earl of Fife.
