Hello, I am new to this list. In fact, I don't even know where Banffshire is! I am hoping that SKS may be able to help me. In 1841 Cenus, I have found a John Stobo living with a family INNES (innkeeper). He may be my John Stobo altho birthplace of Banffshire is a surprise to me. Civil parish is Aberlour Ecclesiastical Parish. Address Charlestown. My John Stobo was the son of John STOBO & Mary ROBERTSON. I had assumed that he came from around Peebles, but may be wrong. Is anyone researching any of these names? Kay from Australia
