You seem to have more info regarding the Scottish area that I have been searching for one of my lines. My gggrandfather George Smith was B: 5 Aug 1820 in Auchenreath, Banffshire and my gggrandmother Jean (Jane) Ross B: by the River Spey and they were Married 12 Apr 1845 Free Church, Enzie, Banff. SC. There appears to be some connection through one of their parents to an Uncle named John Fraser. I have been unable to verify data on either of their parents. Jean Ross's Mother (when she was 85) came to the USA along with her son's Alexander and a John. One of the newspaper articles mentioned only her first initial "A" could be Ann??? Where would I find 'Records of the County of Banff' Spalding Aberdeen 1922 James Grant LL.B ???? It's late here so this may be confusing...
