Looking for information on a George Lyall, shipmaster, merchant service. Born in Macduff and married Jane Greig in 1861 in Banff. In 1881 they had 6 children all born in Macduff. My grandfather James Lumsden Lyall was one of them. regards James Brown

James there was a firm of solicitors in Macduff with Lyall as a surname I think. Do you think they could be related. They are still in Macduff now.
