My father had no contact with his birth parents so he doesn't have anything to go on barring his name? I have a Christina Third FINDLAY, daughter of George FINDLAY and Elizabeth GIBB George was a Marine Engineer. Christina married Alexander Thomas MILTON on 12 December 1923. The address given on the marriage extract was Ivy Cottage, Longhaven, and witnesses were George Ogilvie Penny, Motorhirer of Stuartfield and Ella Mackie, 16 Constitution Street, Peterhead. I have no idea about anything else on the Findlay side apart from these two left for Canada perhaps in the 1920's. Perhaps George Findlay connects with your search. Cheers, Margaret
