I didn't realise there were other cemeteries in close proximity to Fordyce. When I was in Scotland a couple of years ago we only went to the one in the village next to the castle. I was looking for STEVENSON graves. My children's GGG GRandfather was Joseph STEVENSON who emigrated to Australia. His parents were William STEVENSON & Jean BREMNER who married in Fordyce 6 Apr 1788. Their children from my tree and the IGI were John 1788 George 1789 James 1791 William 1793 Alexander 1795 Jean 1797 Isabel 1800 Joseph 1802 (my line) (M) Robert 1807 I haven't been able to go any further on any of the children apart from Joseph. Is there any small chance any of them or the parents appear in your records. Thanks Lyn

    3. Hello Bill, and my apologies for a belated response to your direct email to me. My OE has been down for a few days, but now working as it should. Your information on the Booths seems to fit in perfectly with my picture, and I too will now seek to fill in the gaps. I'll keep you informed if I turn up anything. What is your Booth interest? The Booth family tree belongs to my wife whose mother was a Booth. Her father was Alexander Garden whose ancestors came form Rathven and the Portessie area. The Gardens were farmers as I think were the Booths. If you are interested in the Garden line, please let me know. They all, what's left of them, seem to be in Fife. I, and my wife Agnes live in Kent. We are well into our eighties but fit. Good to hear from you. Regards, Alistair
