It was felt by all that the event will happen and now we are in the process of taking it forward. Concern was raised regarding the chosen date 22-26May 2006. It was felt by some that folks from around the world would find this date unsuitable, and would not attend. The reason behind choosing this date over others was that in Jul, Aug, Sept, all accommodation of Tiree would be unavailable as it is the height of the holiday season here. Please let me know what you and others all think regarding this issue. I personally do not think it will cause a major problem, and will look forward to seeing you all in Tiree in 2006.
