Box Lunch and Lawn Chairs Greetings. Further to recent emails I need to hear back what choice of box lunch you prefer for the Gathering on Saturday, July 24, 2004. Please let me know ASAP. Box Lunch includes: sandwich (beef, egg salad or tuna), cheese, dessert square, and cold beverage (pop, juice, water). $ 10.00 each. Please respond to me with your choice of sandwich and type of pop or juice. Payment on Saturday, July 24. Aye, bottled water is bottled water.....no need to choose on this one. Thank you to those who have responded so far. Archie and Gene MacKinnon have plans to order 100 boxed lunches for us all prepared for us "in the Bruce"! The box lunch will save considerable time for all while maximizing the exposure to all events at the Gathering. Lawn Chairs - For those coming from the area or by car to the Gathering, if possible, please bring lawn chairs not only for yourself and family and friends that will be traveling with you, but please, if possible please include a few extra lawn chairs for those traveling to the Gathering from a great distance who will not be able to bring lawn chair(s). Such chairs can be used outside, specifically at Royal City Park on Saturday, but if need be also outside at Harcourt United Church on Friday / Saturday, Boathouse on Friday and Legion on Saturday. As we will be outside from time to time bring along gear to protect you from the sun - hat, umbrella, sun tan lotion, water bottle, etc. Aye, that's the "Scouter Scott" in me.
