Dear Sarah, Sorry I'm so late answering but thank you for your inquiry. I have very lttle info on my BLACK family. My g grandmother was Catherine BLACK born b. abt 1833 in Bunessan, Isle of Mull. Her father's name was given as Lauchlan BLACK and mother was Isobell MacDougall but there are questions abt both those names now. Her surname was deffinately BLACK but she was raised by an uncle and I'm not sure if Lauchlan was the father or uncle. Sorry I can't help yet. Good luck.
