    3. Neil MacKinnon....Tiree's favourite photographer looks upon us today.... Saturday, January 14, 2005. Oh my Gordon, my heart is heavily burdened within seconds of your email arriving. It brings tears to my eyes as a type this email. I am so sorry and sad. Neil was such an inspiration to all and kept us all well connected to Tiree with his exceptional photographs. No doubt I will take time to reflect and give thanks for what Neil has afforded us all. I miss him dearly. Our special thoughts will be with Neil's spirit, Flora and their dear family and friends throughout the world. We will all miss his high spirited disposition dearly, speaking not only for myself, but for all that have benefited from meeting Neil. Even though I and many of us have never met Neil in person I personally and all that knew Neil felt a very strong personal connection to Neil and were warmly touched by Neil's enthusiasm. Life is such a precious time...make the most of it everyone. Love and God Bless. Thank you for all that you have brought us Neil. Your legend will live on. Scott Cameron and your friends of Tiree throughout the world. Friends, when I have more details I will be certain to forward to all. In my heart I know Neil is looking upon us today and forever giving thanks for having the good fortune to have met us and to have brought us all happiness into our lives through his special talents. Thank you Neil. We will forever miss you.
