Hi Louise Yes, I was thinking along the lines you've listed, a genealogy room where we can display our family trees, search the available censii (? correct terminology), parish records, etc. I've no access to a FHC and therefore to the LDS films. Do you think these will be available? I'm also hoping the staff of the archives will be available to perhaps 'point us in the right direction'.
