Russ, Try the Youth Hostel in Oban, it is excellent and only a 20 minute walk to the ferry terminal. We stayed there last year when we were on our way to Tiree, the walk is lovely in the morning - and we were there in March!! Val Read NZ

I stayed at the Scottish Youth Hostel in Oban...great place, likewise many others..should not be crowded at that time of the year.
