I wonder if this isn't a tape of a talk by Dr. Margaret McKay of the School of Scottish Studies, Univ of Edinburgh, who has done much research on Tiree emigration and published numerous articles. BTW, she is scheduled to speak at the Tiree Gathering 2006. (just the guess of a genealogist used to jumping to conclusions based on similarities of name!)
