Margaret McLean was born 1804 at Haynish to the parents of Alexander McLean and Mary McInnis. Other children's names were: Donald 1797, John 1798 , Marion 1806, Ann 1808 and another Donald 1811.. I have not followed up on this family and have not come across a Hugh McLean. The 1779 census for the Argyle estates suggests four po > ssibilities for Hugh including (1) Sandaig age 20 (2) Bagh age 20, (3) Creich age 20 son of Sandy craftsman, and (4) Ballimianach age 15 tenant.
