Go to http://archive.scotsman.com and register. Then, if you used a US or Cnd. postal code, when you do your first search, it will tell you that it's free for the rest of today, till midnight UK time. Even if you can't take advantage of today's offer, Searches are free anyway. And a 24 hour access pass only costs 8 pounds. How it works is, when you register with a Cnd or US postal code, For example, for the older Tiree articles, do a search on the old name Tyree and you will get over 700 items to choose from. Excellent one about 8 Balefuil Shipwreck heroes in 1868. Maybe some of my relatives were among them..will have to figure it out later.
