    3. Hello Janet, I read your message regarding your ancestors dying due to cholera in Jan.1854. Like you, I have found cholera was the reason several people died around this time. We found a husband and wife who died of cholera , within a day of each other, in Sep. 1854 in Montrose, Angus. This information came from the Montrose Parish Register. Regards, Keith (New Zealand)
