To All, Would the Caledoniam Canal have been the kind of project to attract workmen from various areas? I've been trying to trace McClardy ancestor from "between Fort William and Inverness" who, along with a brother attended an engineering school of sorts (allegedly in Inverness) prior to emmgrating to US around 1850's. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Kevin Jones Whitefish, Mt k.p.jones@centurytel.net
