John McNAIR and his wife Margaret McLEAN lived at Achantain from their marriage about 1820 until after the birth of their first child in 1821. Their second child was born at Miltown in 1823 but by 1825 they were at Craigendain near the head of Loch Striven. If anyone is researching this family I would be pleased to hear from them, and I would greatly appreciate any information about the three places mentioned above, whether farms, crofts or what?
