Last summer I checked a new service on the web www.scottishdocuments.com and I found about sixty family wills . This week I found 119 wills and downloaded one for John McCall of Mid Shynnell, Dumfries Scotland in 1576. The process was efficient and now I am trying to read a document much like CanterburyTales. Fortunately I have a will of Iwie McCall of Guffolkland in 1585 already translated, to help read. I'm looking forward to additional wills being offered and hope you will find this service useful. It can reduce the trips to Edinburgh. Maybe this service will grow? Good Hunting, Ron McCall
I am anxiously awaiting for them to get round to having available the areas I need. Found some "likely suspect" names and will order when they finally become available.
