Could someone please tell me if they know of this farm. I am not 100% sure of the spelling. On the 1851 census Alexander Taylor, his wife Margaret Walker and his daughters Mary and Christina lived on a farm where he was a shepherd. The farm's name was Toberavist (I believe). The farm was owned by John McKellar. The listings are found on Pages 15 and 16 and are items # 62 and 63. The farm appears to be located between farms called Glacanalachie and South Carnbeg.
