Does anyone know where Coishindrochit, North Knapdale is located? I've been unable to locate it. Could SKS suggest any alternate spellings? According to Donald Whyte's book, Dictionary of Scottish Emigrants to Canada before Confederation, Donald McGugan b. 1791 d. 1857 came from Coishindrochit, North Knapdale. He was the son of Neil McGugan and Elspeth Campbell. He married Mary McAlpine 29 Mar 1813. The family emigrated to the Talbot Settlement in 1819 and settled in Dunwich Twp. Any help with this location would be greatly appreciated. TIA, Anne
