    3. Hello Jean, you mention attending Oban High School in the late 50's, I too attended in 56, and from there, went to Nigeria to be with my father, in the colonial service. Being an only child, and my mother dying in Oban, of cancer, at the age of 44, I have been trying to find my roots. I lost track of my father, William Park, in the late 50's, very likely a result of the Biafran situation in Nigeria. My mothers maiden name was Robson, and we lived on Pulpit Hill, a house named Bay Ridge. I came to Canada in the early 60's, and here I remain, any help you can offer in the search for "roots", would be greatly appreciated. Yours Sincerely, Ian M. Park

    3. Hi Ian Nice to hear from you. Your name doesn't ring a bell though funnily enough i worked with an Ian Park down here in Hampshire. Your name doesn't immediately ring a bell but I do have contact with two old school friends (Kitty MacPherson and Doreen Christie) so I will mention your name to them Have you heard of the web-site 'Friends Re-United' (friendsreunited.co.uk)> It is a data-base of schools, colleges and now work places where you can log your name and look up other people from your school. If you are not already on it it would be worth while registering. Best Wishes in your search.
