I am doing a little work on my great uncle's Macpherson family. In research he did in the 1950's he mentiones two farms in relation to a number of ancestors: John Macpherson, 1745 - 1810, tenant farmer at Gortanafaull, Kintyre, Angus Macpherson, 1776 - , Tacksman at Drimavou, and John Macpherson 1807 - 1856, Tenant farmer at Drumavou. Can anyone on this list enlighten me on either of these farms (position, owners, etc.)? I understand that Dri(u)mavou is near Clachan. Thanks Jim Winter, Newfoundland, Canada.
