    3. I just happened to see something on this tonight while I was browsing. It looks like Scots Origins is being phased out. The new site where you can access General Register House for Scotland is at: www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk It was all new to me so we should watch it for a few days to see if that is correct. Does anyone else know? Mary

    3. Hello: I have accessed both the changed Scots Origins and the new "scotlandspeople". The latter appears to be the website we have grown used to, only run by a different. I had to register as a new user. Scots Origins, who no longer seem to be running the GRO site, have continued on. I did not have to register as a new user. However, when I accessed anything I ended up on the IGI (Mormon) site which I have found to be less accurate that the GRO site. So I guess its "scotlandspeople" for me from now on.
