Erected by James Hall, farmer in Pirleyknow in memory of his spouse Elizabeth Black who died April 10th 1799 aged 62 years and his forefathers viz Robert Hall and Jenat Ralston, James Hall and Jean Anderson, Robert Hall and Margaret Dunlop, tenants in Eden.
