Ken, Glynis & others Re the messages re McPHERSON at Appin, I don't know where Appin is or if it's where mine were, but I'll put my ones out there anyway. I haven't chased this line at all yet. I have a Donald McPHERSON who married Flora CAMERON, & had a daughter Anne c. Feb 1806 in Ockle, Argyllshire. Anne McPHERSON married Duncan STEWART (b. c1810 in Ardnamurchan). The marriage was I think on 19Aug1838 in Cardross, Dunbarton. Anne & Duncan STEWART arrived in Wellington, New Zealand 1858 with 2 daughters & 2 sons (one named Alexander b c May1843, Buarblaig, Arndamurchan). I have descendents of Alexander, but little else.
