I'm sure this has been asked, but a refresher would help me today. If a woman had previously been married - in the 1750 era - if her husband died and she remarried, which name might she remarry under? her maiden name? her married name? I can only find a whisper of one child (for what I beleive to be an original marriage) but within three years I find the same woman's name in the OPR marriages to someone else. However, I have no proof it is the same woman, and in this record time frame, information is so limited. Any advise would be appreciated, Joy, USA
