I haven't looked at 1845 because my ancestors left Scotland before that.

In the Bowmore parish registers, the location of "Scarius" (also spelled Sgarius) is given. Although I looked in several Scot gazetteers, maps, etc, this location was not listed. Does anyone know where it was/is? Perhaps it is just a farm?
