Charles It's difficult to know which topic you are referring to, when you give only a Digest number - some of us receive our messages individually and not in Digest form. If, however, you are referring to Jeffrey's advice on how to recover the 1779 Argyll census data, it worked perfectly for me - and, I gather, for others too. It might be worth your re-reading the advice and trying again, as I don't see how the instructions could be more explicit.
