Researching this family that lived in the Parish of Kilfinichen, Isle of Mull, :- Alan McCormick m Ann Morison (dates unknown) Their family that I have found. Mary b1805 Duncan b1813 m 4/4/1836 Catherine Campbell b c1811 (based on census records) Their family Mary b1838 Donald b 1842 John b 1842 Christina b 1846 Allan b 1849 Charles b 1855 d c1856 Archibald b 1856 At the time of Duncan's birth the family was living in Siaba. Duncan & Catherine lived in Shiaba & the surrounding area also. Duncan was listed in the 1851 census as a carrier & is mentioned in the book "The Island of Mull" written by John Mac Cormick. A signed copy was sent to my grandfather in 1925. Archibald was my grandfather & emigrated to New Zealand in 1879. I have details of his brothers & sisters families except for John & Allan. It is generally understood that both J ohn & Allan emigrated also bit we have been unable to establish where. Am seeking any imformation regarding John and or Allan.
