Andrea from Melborne AUS asked about the address her CAMPBELLs were at in the 1901 Census. . Although I haven't seen the particular entry I can make an educated guess : . All are at the southern end of Glen Orchy near Dalmally on the B8077 between Lochawe village and Dalmally. -- UK National Grid Ref NN 155 285 . Lagganbuie is 1ml (1.6km) west of Dalmally . Craigmore is 2ml (3.2km) west of Dalmally . NE of Craigmore are the ruins of "Tigh Mor" (Big House) - this may well have bee known by another name at the turn of the 18/19th Century - possibly Achacouaiel. The nearest Gaelic I can come up with is Ach a'cuaille - club/cudgel field or Ach a'cuailean - lock/curl (of hair) field. . I'll have a look at the actual 1901 Census entry and at the earlier ones to see if can find out what it is actlly called, and anything else of interest. . Best wishes Les Onich Inverness-shire
