    1. [ARGYLL] Re: SCT-ARGYLL-D Digest V02 #120 (Cumlodden Parish)
    2. Katrina Cumlodden was a quoad sacra parish (that is one created for religious purposes only) about the middle of the 19th century (1853?), made out of the northern portion of the old parish of Glassary. It lies on the west side of Loch Fyne about 10 miles south of Inveraray. It has no registers in the OPR series; the relevant OPRs are those of Glassary. There may, however, be baptismal rolls, communicant rolls and Kirk Session minutes available either in the National Archives of Scotland or in the Argyll and Bute Archive. These will not, of course, cover any events before the parish was set up. Frank Bigwood
