Diarmid This may be of no use to you at all because I am not at all sure of the geography of Scotland and there fore I do not know how close Knapdale and Auchindrain are, but my family's history is documented in the 40+ page manuscript entitled "The Campbells from Auchindrain" by Emily Campbell Price. Auchindrain, Argyllshire is now a open-air museum of farming life. In that manuscript several of my ancestors are said to have lived in Knapsdale and South Knapsdale.
