Sheila, I have a Lachlan McLEAN, b. abt. 1824, d. abt. 1892 who married Sarah McLEAN, b. abt. 1827, d. Feb. 5, 1911. Lachlan was one of 5 sons (Duncan, Hugh, Lachlan, Donald, and Archibald) of Neil and Sarah McLEAN who came to Canada from the parish of Lillionan, Islay, Argyllshire, Scotland. They settled in Erin Township, Wellington County, Ontario. Any connection?
