G'day Still seeking my MCLACHLAN/CAMPBELL connections from Argyllshire Scotland and Australia. Dugald MCLACHLAN and Peggy CAMPBELL had children Katrine ch 1825, Janet (b 1826) resident on Laudle (sic); John (b 1832) Fuinary; Isobel (b 1835) Uladle (sic); Peggy (b 1837) Ulladle (sic), possibly Ewan/Hugh later. Dugald's parents possibly Dugald MCLACHLAN and Mary MCEACHERN. Dugald & Peggy do not seem to have followed the tradition naming pattern or there are children I have not been able to discover .. have been to Edinburgh to new Reg House .. The son John came to Australia date uncertain. What happened to the rest of the family? I believe that John came to AUS with a brother but that once here they lost touch with each other. John, my great grandfather, was a drover in NSW. Would be most grateful for any info. I think Dugald died near Fuinary/Fiunary (OS maps I have contradict each other on this spelling). Ulladle (var) is a location just north of Lochaline in Morvern, in Argyllshire. Anne Maye
