Lou Ritter You will find Baroile on the Ordnance Survey Explorer 358 (1:25,000) map. You are quite right about where it is. In Glassary parish NW of Rhudle at Grid Reference NM849957. I lies on the eastern side of a little glen, the valley of the Rhudil Burn, in which is also situated Rhudle Mill and, further up, one of the many Kilbrides. I have found the name in the 17th and 18th centuries with a variety of spellings. Frank Bigwood
