My great-great grandfather was an Ivie McDougall born in 1837 at Kilmun near Dunoon. He had a son named Ivie John McFarlane McDougall buried at the Kilmun Church. Both the Ivie and the John are on the birth register document. My father was named Iver. Ivie was also spelled Ivy on another document.
