Sometimes I've been successful at locating some of the old towns and even farms on some of the old map sites. It can take a lot of patient searching and you usually need a starting point. I'm now looking for Baroyle or Baroil or something that would sound that way, since most early spelling was phonetic. It should be in Glassary parish, but may be near Kilmartin which must be near the boundary between parishes. Probably near Upper Rudil, which I may have found on an old map as Upper Rudale. Anybody familiar with Baroyle? Lou Ritter
