    1. [ARGYLL] Re: Lost Cousins
    2. I am still trying to trace various family members. My grandmother Agnes Young Kelshaw , nee Livingston, was born in Kilfinian, Argylshire in 1870. She was the last child of her mother Jean Hunter Livingston. Her mother died shortly after her birth. Her father remarried five years later to Christina MacLean. My grandmother was raised by her stepmother whom she adored. Christina MacLean Livingston bore eight children, John, Christina, Jeanie, Margaret, Anne, Robert, Emma, and Archie. I am trying to find these half-siblings of my grandmother, all of whom were considerable younger than her. The last three being age mates of my grandmother's children. I beleive that one of the younger half-sisters married a Stuart, and another married a Weir. Likewise, I am trying to find their children. I have pictures of the Weir bothers. One of whom John Weir was in the Royal Canadian Navy during WWII and the other I believe was I merchant sailor. In a letter, John mentions their cousin Robert Stuart who was captured at Dunkirk. John also mentions an Uncle Bob who is a gardener at Ardishaig. I''m not sure whether Uncle Bob is a Weir or a Livingston. These are the only clues that I have. I hope that these will give some leads so that I can find my cousins or their children. Thanks Keith Thomas
