I have just discovered that one of my sets of ggg-grandparents was Donald McMaster and Euphemia Henderson. I am descended from their daughter Agnes McMaster who was born in 1803, probably in the Fort William area. Does this ring a bell with anyone? John in Canberra

Hi John I don't have a connection but I have a Hugh (or Ewen) McMaster married to Catherine Henderson in 1861 here in Australia. Hugh was christened in Corpach about 1834, just across from Fort William. He arrived in Australia about 1854. Hugh's parents were Charles McMaster and Margaret Cameron.
