    3. I'm afraid Scottish returns for the 1881 census aren't included in the LDS data. When they first announced that the 1881 census for the UK was available, I tried it, then emailed them to ask about this. They replied that the 1881 census for Scotland is available on the ScotlandsPeople website, so not included in the data LDS have made available. I pointed out that it was therefore misleading to say that they provide access to data for the UK since their data totally excludes one of the countries that make up the UK, and that it would be more accurate to say they've got census data for England, NI and Wales, but I never got a reply to that email.
