I am actually helping a lady (a Mackellar) from the Australian branch of the family, as well as myself, because she pointed out an error in my tree!!! - much to my mortification!! I have got two Neil McKellars mixed up! It means I probably also have their parents mixed up too! Must say it is easier to make entries on one's software, than to change things!! So I am looking for this Neil's parents now. I'd be really grateful if you could confirm - if you have a spare moment - if what you found about Neil and Anne's children matches what I have below. It will help me set the record straight!! I have Donald b 1/1/1815 Kilchrenan; Catherine b 5/10/1817 Glasgow; Peter b 12/2/1820 Kilchrenan; John b 20/9/1824 South Knapdale; Janet b 3 /10/1830 North Knapdale; Mary b about 1830 don't know where? - and Jessie b 1831 don't know where? -did marry an Aust. and died there. Neil 15/12 1832 don't know where? married a g grandparent of the lady in Oz; Dugald b 1835 where? - died in Oz. They are all her family members and I believe we are related!!
