Hello, I've been doing my Black family tree. Our family originally came from Craignish. I can't find anything before 1730's. Archibald Black married ?. Children where Marrion Black born 05/08/1757, then Duguld Black born 11/02/1760 and our descendant Malcolm Black born 06/05/1762. Is there any way I can find out who Archibald married (as the birth certificate only shows the fathers name) and maybe any information about his family? Any information would be gratefully received. I also want to find out about Grandfathers brother, Archibald Black born in Kilcherian on 19/10/1876, he seems to have just disappeared. Last known to be in Oban in 1903 for Grandfathers wedding.
